I was born in Kenscoff, Haiti and I’m the 10th child of 11 children from from my family. I was not born into a Christian household but my family tells me that by the age of four, I was already proclaiming that I wanted to be a Pastor.
At the age of 11, I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal savior. Two years later when I was 13 years old, I was baptized in water.
In 1977, when I was 14 years old, I was hit by a car and almost died. While I was in the hospital, there was a missionary who came to visit me. She told me I was not too young to die but that God had spared me because I was chosen to be a Pastor for his kingdom work. After 3 months I was able to return back to school. I also returned to church where I started serving my congregation in the youth and Sunday school ministry.
After I graduated high school, I went to JB Damier in Haiti to study clothing design. In 1986, I graduated and started working in my profession.
This is also the year I joined a prayer group that consisted of 25 young vibrant people who were zealous for God. We gathered every Friday night. This is where I met Marie Carmen Morancy who became my wife on July 25, 1987. In our marriage, God has blessed us with four beautiful girls, teo of whom are adopted.
In 1989, after much prayer, I decided to enter a seminary school located in Delmas, Port-au-Prince. The school called International Mission Outreach (IMO). While in seminary, I traveled all over Haiti to complete my internship program. I was able to preach the gospel all over Haiti. I graduated in May of 1993 with a Bachelors in Biblical Studies and was ordained a Pastor in July of 1993 by Bishop Charles Lorimond.
As I was waiting to be instated as the senior pastor at the IMO Church in Tabarre, Port-au-Prince, God saw it in his plans to send me to the United States instead.
In August of 1993, I became a member of the Church of God in Asbury Park. I remained an assistant pastor there until December of 1997. After 4 years of service to the Church of God, God called me and three other brothers in Christ for a new mission.
The Church of God of Prophecy was founded in December of 1997 in Neptune, NJ. The first official worship service was held on December 21, 1997 with a total of four family units. The inauguration of the church took place January of 1998, this is also the day I was appointed Senior Pastor.
A few months later, membership in the church had grown to nearly 100 members. In 2017, we are now at over 300 members.
As the senior Pastor at the Church, my work was not only supervised by God, Bishop Leroy
Greenaway who was the overseer for the Mid-Atlantic region was my direct supervisor. Bishop Greenaway saw how fast the church was growing physically and spiritually, he was a witness to how God was using the Church to bless so many. In July 2010, Bishop Greenaway saw it fit to invite me to the Church of God of Prophecy’s General Assembly where there were over 28,000 attendees. There, in North Carolina, I was ordained Bishop. It was an honor for me. I felt so humbled, God had truly created a pathway for me to be able to reach souls and help them in any aspect of their lives.
My ministry has been blessed by God. My wife is the first lady and also the president of the women’s ministry/ My daughter is the president of the youth ministry. Many off my family members are active members of the church and serving God and the ministry.
I am blessed to have 5 other pastors in the ministry who work diligently to help make the ministry successful.
After 19 years of serving as senior pastor for the church, my vision has not changed. My goal is to gain souls for the kingdom of God. I want to change the lives of all the people that God sends my way. I also have a vision for the church to have its own place of worship.
Please keep me in your prayers. The road is not easy but I know that God is in control. I pray for peace and blessings in your lives.
