At Ebenezer Church of God of Prophecy we seek to expand the concept of ministry. Regardless of the occupation of an individual, as what it can and ought to be—ministry that glorifies God and influences other people is ministry indeed. We seek to discover each individual’s talent and use it to glorify God’s name.   A talent is something that you are instinctually born with that gives you unique skills and abilities. Talent is set apart from knowledge in that it is not a learned behavior, although it can be strengthened and practiced. The Bible tells us that we are all born with distinct talents and gifts that set us apart from each other. When you discover the talents that God has given you and you use them to glorify Him, you will experience a full life! Our loving Lord wants us to feel whole and complete, and it is through talents that we can find our unique calling in life! Use these Bible verses about talents to encourage yourself and others who are seeking God’s plan for their life.   Ephesians 2:10

Music Ministry

The Ministry of Music is one of the most vital ministries at church and should be viewed as a sacred office. The Bible explains that every good gift comes from God (James 1:17). Music is one of God’s good gifts. God has given both man and angels the gift of music-making (Genesis 4:21; Job 38:7). The purpose of music and singing is to rejoice in and worship the Lord (Psalm 95:1-2).    Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. (Colossians 3:16)

1 Praise the LORD.Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens.
2 Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness.
3 Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre,
4 praise him with timbrel and dancing, praise him with the strings and pipe,
5 praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals. (Psalm 150:1-5)

Women’ Ministry

Women’s Ministry’s mission to provide women with the tools to spread a passion for the word of God. To spread joy of all peoples through Jesus Christ. We hope to lead women to embrace their identity in Jesus Christ and to claim and enjoy satisfaction in him. Prayer, study and application of the Word, fellowship, and serving one another are just some of the tools we use to unify and strengthen the women at the Church of God of Prophecy. Our president, First Lady Marie Carmen Mesidort and Vice President Sister Camelie Edoaurd have been working very hard to make the Women’s Ministry a true success.

Men’s Ministry

At the Ebenezer Church of God of Prophecy, the mission of the men’s ministry is to provide men with the resources to develop Godly character and help equip them to influence their world for Jesus Christ. We seek to unite men in Bible study, prayer, ministry, fellowship, and accountability.

Our President has been working diligently to fulfill the mission of the ministry.

Youth Ministry

Ebenezer Church of God of Prophecy’s youth group is dedicated to the discipleship of teens. We strive to create an environment that is fun, spiritually stimulating and most of all, spiritually challenging to our members. (Read more)

Children’s Ministry

We lead children into a growing relationship with Christ by creating environments in which children are encouraged to pursue friendship with God, make friends with good people, understand their God-given gifts and begin to use them, and positively affect their friends who do not know Jesus. Children’s ministry is headed by Sister Clairemeda Joesph.

“Help us build a new church for our community and the congregation we serve”

The Ebenezer Church of God of Prophecy will be a Christ-exalting, holiness, Spirit-filled, all-nations, disciple-making, church planting Movement with a passion for Christian union.  Every great work and every great person came under the influence of a vision that changed them and therefore changed others. In the 1960s, John F. Kennedy gave America the vision to place a man on the moon in that decade, in spite of the technological impossibility at the time. We often reflect on passages in the Bible that lift up the benefit of vision. Proverbs 29:18 says, “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keeps the law, happy is he.” First Chronicles 12:32 is well-known for pointing to the children of Issachar, who were “men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do.”

Valuable visions build on the past, speak to needs, challenge people, provide guidance, attract involvement, unite efforts, give energy, bring change, and move ministry forward. It is absolutely powerful to be given over to a dream or a purpose bigger than ourselves. That has been the testimony of our journey in the Ebenezer Church of God of Prophecy. Through the years, many in this Church have been gripped by passion, knowing that God had a destiny for this Movement as well as for those individuals who are devoted to this cause. The chemistry of a Movement on a mission is undeniable and often unshakable. Robert Dale noted in his book Keeping the Dream Alive that any organization steps through cycles. The early group is seized with a “cause,” which becomes the motivation for all that is done. This cause brings a surge of energy expressed as passion and attracts even more adherents. The Movement is launched and rockets upward quickly.

As the growth continues, there are needs for organization, structure, and policies. The growth level of the Movement gradually slows, as more and more energy is consumed internally. If momentum continues to fade, plateau comes, followed by stagnation, and then decline. The cure for Movements that find themselves in the stages from plateau on through decline is to recapture the “cause” that once ignited the birth and life of the Movement, originally. If drifting from the “cause” saps life, then restoration of the “cause” brings renewal and life again. The Church of God of Prophecy is currently in such a stage of vision restoration. Our return to the Harvest has begun to restore the force of life to our ministry and Movement. We have already seen the momentum shifting. Today this Church is aligning itself, more and more, to the call of Harvest and worldwide Kingdom expansion.
We are building on our foundation in Christ; His Gospel call, deep holiness convictions, the Pentecostal experience, world mission compassion, “all nations” participation, and hunger for Christian union. What God placed within us as “Divine DNA” more than a century ago is being renewed by the Holy Spirit in this significant hour. Our destiny lies ahead as we join our Savior in the greatest age of reaping this world has ever known. Only we can do our part. May every outpost of ministry through the world network of this Church arise to the “cause and call” of our Lord and King! And may the song on our hearts ring out, “To God be the Glory, both now and forever more.” From its birth, the Ebenezer Church of God of Prophecy has been an evangelistic, missionary-minded Church. Beginning nineteen years ago in the Neptune Township, New Jersey, The Church leaders saw themselves as instruments of God for local evangelization. When evangelism was discussed at the First Assembly meeting in 1997, “. . . men wept and said they were not only willing but anxious to go.” Over the years, the Church has grown to over two hundred people so far and we plan to build a bigger church for the community and our congregation.

The Ebenezer Church of God of Prophecy will be a Christ-exalting, holiness, Spirit-filled, all- nations, disciple-making, church-planting Movement within a passion for Christian union.
Christ Exalting in all that we do, may Jesus Christ be visible. He is the Head of the Body and, therefore, must be preeminent in all things. Today we affirm our desire for Christ to be seen more perfectly through this family of ministry.
Holiness People this body was a part of the “holiness movement” before we were Pentecostal. We were born out of the sweeping holiness camp meeting revival of North America. The call to holiness is deep in our roots and intended to be a component of our destiny. We renew our surrender to God’s grace and the cleansing of His blood, so that we may be like Him.
Christian Union Seed The title “Christian Union” at Camp Creek signified a determined understanding among our forefathers that there could be a unity above and beyond religious creeds of the day, which God would use to glorify His name in the earth. Today we intend to cooperate with all that exalt the name of Christ and His Great Gospel. We believe that God is challenging us to become a Christ-exalting, holiness, Spirit-filled, all-nations, disciple-making, church-planting Movement with a passion for Christian union. Many times, we, as Christian leaders, fail, not because we’re afraid, nor because of peer pressure, nor because of anything other than the fact that we lose sight of the goal. Written is the vision that God has placed in our hearts: The Ebenezer Church of God of Prophecy will be a Christ-exalting, holiness, Spirit-filled, all-nations, disciple-making, church planting Movement with a passion for Christian union. “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he” (Proverbs 29:18). Staying where we are can become comfortable, and it is easy to lose sight of the needs around us. This is a hemorrhaging and hurting world where there are broken hearts and fractured families. Do you see the brokenness of humanity? People are looking for meaning and value. A visionary person sees the need and feels the need. There is no such thing as emotionless vision. Once vision is caught, there is passion!
